Walcot Hall is set within 30 acres of grounds, including one of Britain’s finest and most eclectic arboretums, which now has 15 self-catering holiday cottages and 10 glamping pods located around the estate. There is a wide range of accommodation available allowing guests to stay on-site, these include the Tin Chapel tucked away in the arboretum, yurts, shepherds huts, the Dipping Shed and Wheelwright’s Shop. Walcot also has an on-site pub, The Powis Arms, right by the front gates that champions seasonal menus and local suppliers.

CELEBRATE IN STYLE
Couples have a choice of three indoor spaces and additional outdoor options, which are all licensed for civil marriages. The Main Hall features marble columns, ornate ceiling and a floating staircase sweeping into the entrance hall. This room is included in the venue hire for up to three hours and will seat up to 120 loved ones.

The Ballroom and Anteroom are separated from the Main Hall by a beautiful private courtyard. The Anteroom is perfect for an intimate ceremony of less than 50 guests. Alternatively, the Ballroom, which dates back to 1800, has room for 120 friends and family.

Ceremonies can be be conducted anywhere on the grounds, and there is a licensed Summer House available on the private lawn.
