Scavenger hunt
This 125-year-old property boasts charming grounds, complete with an 11th-century church and a listed, ornate topiary garden. Billesley Manor Hotel & Spa has designed a scavenger hunt to encourage children to explore the grounds and learn along the way. Shakespeare famously wrote lines from his play As You Like It from the library and as such many nods to Shakespeare can be found around the hotel from handcrafted feather pieces to more traditional artwork, which no doubt will be included in the scavenger hunt! The scavenger hunt will provide a day of discovery and challenges and will no doubt leave children entertained.

Feed the swans
Billesley Manor Hotel & Spa encourages its guests to visit the iconic swans of Stratford-Upon-Avon and will provide grains and seeds to feed the birds. Enjoy an idyllic stroll along the River Avon and watch the elegant swans in their natural habitat; an activity for the whole family to enjoy.

Wander the grounds
Families can explore the beautifully landscaped grounds and discover the exquisite, listed topiary garden. The garden was planted over 125 years ago and has been curated and shaped to form giant chess pieces, inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. For those wishing to spend time outside, exploring the beautiful countryside will find several idyllic country walks which reception will be more than happy to map out.

Be pampered at the spa
