At the heart of Alrewas Hayes lies The Courtyard, a peaceful oasis offering calm and seclusion among the delicate scent of English roses, French lavender and silver birch trees. the ideal space for welcome drinks and evening nibbles.
The space can also be used for non-legal marital blessing ceremonies. Trailing off The Courtyard are the private, picturesque landscaped gardens and 100-acres of woodland and grounds – free for you to wander and while away time among the wild. An elegant interior that cleverly combines the venue and setting's historical charm with a contemporary aesthetic to create a modern-day country retreat. Located within the wing of the house and featuring a distinctive curved ceiling, arched windows and doors opening out on to The Courtyard, The Orangery is the ideal setting for wedding ceremonies as it's bathed in natural light and features period touches throughout.
For larger ceremonies, The Lakeside can accommodate from 60 guests up to 220 for the day and evening. Set overlooking the estate's private lake, woodlands and wheat fields, The Lakeside is a blank canvas for the creative. Alternate post-vow options include The Great Barn, the largest space within Alrewas Hayes, accommodating receptions from 22o to 650 guests. Reminiscent of a cool airport hangar from the outside yet sleek and contemporary on the inside, it's a place where the unimaginable is possible.
As well as Williams Bar & Lobby; as day transcends into night, the Williams Bar is the room that gets the party started, featuring leopard print wallpaper, atmospheric lighting and floor-to-ceiling shelves stocked full of specially selected spirits, wines and beers. When tying the knot here, couples will be invited to a complimentary tasting experience where they will sample a tasting menu and enjoy an evening with other couples in The Lakeside with entertainment. When all of the rooms at Alrewas Hayes are booked for a wedding, it offer couples The Theodore Suite free of charge to enjoy on their first night as newlyweds.
